1. The Beechworth Lunatic Asylum

This is an abandoned asylum found in Australia. It used to be a mental hospital and in the time it was operational, a lot of patients died there. Those souls are haunting the asylum till now. There are nighttime ghost tours that are organized for visitors which I am sure can be very uncomfortable.

2. The Princess Theatre

This one is also in Australia. This theatre is haunted by a ghost known as Frederici. Frederici or Frederick Baker was an Italian baritone singer who died at the stage of this theatre due to heart attack due to an accident at the theatre. The theatre reserves a seat for Frederic at each and every opening-night performance.

3. The Bhangarh Fort

This is a fort in India that is believed to have been cursed by a wizard who lived in the area. The wizard fell in love with the princess of Bhangarh. The wizard tried to get the girl using magic but the princess learnt of the idea and hit the bowl containing the magic on a large boulder. The boulder started rolling down towards the wizard and before it hit him, the wizard cursed the town that it would never be inhabited and that it will be destroyed. A few years later, the town was invaded and pillaged and most people died including the princess. Ghosts of those killed still haunt the fort. The Archaeological Survey of India restricts anyone from being at the fort after dark.

4. Aokigahara

An infamous suicide forest in Japan because many people have gone to commit suicide the forest despite the dense trees and vines. The local police collect the bodies annually and nowadays they do not give the number of bodies because the numbers have been observed to motivate people to commit suicide. It is therefore believed that the souls of those who died there haunt the forest.

5. Iulia Hasdeu Castle

This castle in Romania was built by Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu after his daughter, called Iulia passed on. He tried to reconnect with her spirit using some spiritual ways and he went to the extent of designing a room for his spiritual exercises. The walls of the room are black in color. The spirit if Iulia supposedly haunts the castle. It walks through the courtyard wearing a white dress, holding daisies and also plays the piano every night.

6. Hell Fire Club on Montpelier Hill

This was a meeting place for a group of Dublin elites who practiced debauchery and devil worship. They practiced animal sacrifices, murder and stories of cloven-hoofed men are attached to the place. It is a good place in Ireland for ghost tours.

7. Manila Film Center

This film centre is supposedly haunted by ghosts of workers. The workers met their death during a fatal construction accident. The workers were buried in quick-drying cement and thus it is suspected other bodies are still in the structure.
